Baseball!
America's greatest pastime is a big deal in our family, and with MLB and local kids baseball starting up, we are in full swing! (See what I did there, haha) Every chance of good weather we get, we're out in the back practicing or going down to the sandlot field!
Nature Walk
Learn about the trees and animals in your neighborhood! A few years ago I got henry a little sketch journal off of Amazon that prompts him to draw or write about the bugs, trees, birds, and other things he finds in nature!

Go to the park!
Seriously, does it get any better than a good ole classic park? They are getting cooler and cooler! When you are 7, they really are the bee's knees!

Golfing!
Right around this age is the perfect time to introduce golf to kids. It teaches hand-eye coordination, patience, and it's good for them to get outside!
Backyard Camping and/or Picnics!
Nothing is cooler than going camping in your backyard or eating off the ground. I don't know why, but kids find that so fun!
For more fun in the sun head over to these GalPals blogs and see what they are up to.
